Hallway Read In

Awesome start to the morning! All students, and anyone who wanted to join the fun, read for 20 minutes all together in the hallways of Westwoods. Great way to start our first week of the Read A Thon! Keep up the good work! Keep reading!!

 

 

Report Cards

All student report cards went home on Friday, March 15th. 
Please take time to go over your child's progress together this weekend. 
All report card envelopes need to please be signed and returned back to school empty. We will use these for your child's last report card in June.

Join us for the 2019 Westwoods Read In

8:50 - 9:10

All student logins went home this past Friday. If students can not login at home I will make sure to give daily opportunities to log their reading minutes in the classroom as well. Students will just have to remember to jot down the books they are reading along with the length of minutes read outside of school.

Both the timeline and a prize list went home as well. This you will find in their report card envelope.

Character Traits

In our Journey lessons we have been learning a lot about character traits. We talk about adjectives that can describe not only the inside personality, emotions and feelings of characters but also the physical attributes on the outside. So we connected this concept to ourselves and analyzed our traits on the inside and outside of our own bodies. They were very honest! 

AWESOME job!

February Book It! is due! If students have one at home please have them bring it in to get their pizza reward!
