Princess Marigold from Mrs. Howey's 3rd grade classroom came to visit! 3rd grade leaders taught us all about bearded dragons AND the life Princess Marigold lives. We loved it!

 Our downtown community field trip is coming up on June 4 (more details to come soon). We have the main course for lunch figured out but need some sides for students.

Friday, May 30: Students will enjoy a POPSICLE, provided by PTO, with their regular lunch!

Weather permitting, students will eat outside.

Please send a beach towel or blanket for students to sit on outside for lunch.

Westward Expansion

 Westward Expansion Quilt Squares
You will see these coming home! After each lesson we made a quilt square with a photo and the important details from each story. The quilt signifies how important the use of quilts were in covered wagons when families were heading west.
I am so proud of how each and every project turned out! If it wasn't so close to the end of the year I would've put them all on displayed to show off to those that cruise the hallways.
Instead, you can enjoy at home!

ABC Countdown - F is for Fireman

 F is for Fireman!
We had visitors today from the Long Lake Fire Station. They gave us a more in depth look of their fire engine. We were also able to use the firehose!! Then play stop, drop, roll ( a form of duck, duck, goose)
