Holiday Fundraiser

Fundraiser: 5th graders are selling candy cane grams
To purchase, go to either WW entrance
Tues., Dec. 16 - Thurs.  Dec. 18
Before School 8:45-9:00
After School 3:45-4:00
Candy grams are just $1.00!
Send a candy cane with a personalized note to a friend, teacher, or staff member in the school!
5th graders will deliver the candy grams the morning of Friday, Dec. 20!
Thank you so much for supporting the fifth graders as they fundraise for their trip to the Leelanau Outdoor Center this spring!

We read the Greek Myth Hercules and then we watched the movie! Fan Favorite!!

Balloons Over Westwoods!!

We read the story Balloons Over Broadway and watched some live videos of the Macy's Day Parade. Very fascinating to many students!

With our learning buddies, students chose their balloon characters and discussed how they would make it into a model. We then planned and sketched, just like in our writing. Students used this to build their own balloon, getting ready for the main even!
