Harold & The Purple Crayon

Due to the Read A Thon, we did a book study on Harold & the Purple Crayon!
Thank you to book donations from the Snyder Family, Dan Tiesworth, and fellow teachers of our building, we were able to get a class set to read from. The predicting, connection and continued discussion we had was very intentional. The book is AMAZING!

Then we took the idea and created our own purple marker idea. What would be your first idea to do or where would you go with the purple crayon? So many creative ideas!

In chunks we are even viewing the movie!

Best remembered as the war that gave birth to "The Star Spangled Banner."
