Last Few Days of School

Our last week of school was fast and furious! We accomplished a lot, and made a whirlwind of our last days together. We had SO much fun! Still hard to believe it's over.

W - Wheels Day

X - Rainy day did not allow an outside eXtra recess. So we made eXtra big directed drawings & an eXtra inside recess.

Y - YOU Day! Octopus Tag included a few big high school kids to join in on the fun!

Habit Achievements!

 
Our last Habits Assembly as a whole school was on Monday morning! We were able to present our poster for Habit 1: Be Proactive. The choice is yours!

We passed the torch (flag) on to the first grades and received the same honor from 3rd grade. We are moving on!!

Our sashes we made represent our grade color orange AND what habit we think we succeeded on the most!

To everyone who has helped out this year with Book Clubs, Pokemon & Trading Card Club, Popcorn, Field Trips, Donating, and MORE!! You are so appreciated! You have helped make our year the HUGE success that it was!

ABC Countdown: W - Wheels Day

Tuesday, June 4
Wheels Day

We are inviting all the kids to bring in a wheeled item to school!

Man power only. No electric or motor wheels please. ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO WEAR A HELMET TO PARTICIPATE

If you do not want your child to get involved, please let us know right away so we can plan alternative activities. 

School rules still apply, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. The items will be stored out front of our classroom windows. 

You will be responsible for delivering your child’s item and making arrangements to get it picked up.

Item suggestions: Bikes, Scooters, Roller blades, Roller skates, Skateboard, Etc.

Students will be allowed to and encouraged to share items to promote being active.

Downtown Traverse City Field Trip

Our field trip was a HUGE success!!! We could not have done it without so many community helper!!

You are the reason the trip went so smoothly and safe!
