Extra Practice

Math Homework & Remembering Books went home!

These are extra work for students who are looking to do anything further at home. This is NOT homework from my classroom, and it does NOT need to be returned to school. It is more a resource for continued practice at home.
We just started Unit 2, so students can practice anything in unit one now!
Any questions or concerns please let me know!

We have begun Unit 3 of our Listening/Knowledge Strand of CKLA!
Ancient Greek Civilization

Students explore the civilization of ancient Greece, which lives on in many ways—in our language, government, art and architecture, the Olympics, and more. Students learn about the city-states of Sparta and Athens, Greek democracy, the gods and goddesses of the ancient Greeks, and the philosophers Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle.

Toys for Tots Collection: Long Lake Fire Rescue

Monday, Dec. 2
Long Lake Fire Rescue will be bringing a truck to Westwoods collecting toy donations from our students!
If you
are able to participate, please send a new, unwrapped toy on that day for your child to give. If you’d like to send two toys, that would enable another student to experience the joy of giving as well.
This is such a rewarding experience for the students and we look forward to the excitement that it brings.
