Graphing!

Students did an great job learning the different concepts within MONEY! I'm sure they are ready for a little break, with a little review here and there. So, we are now moving into graphing!
Within this chapter students will learn how to analyze more complex picture graphs, bar graphs, and line plots. They will be reading, analyzing, and interpreting:
picture graphs
bar graphs
line plots
They will also be creating their own graphs from given data and solving real world problems using the different graphs and the data shown.
By the end of the chapter students will be able to:
- Draw a picture graph and a bar graph to represent a data set with up to four categories
- Solve simple put together, take apart, and compare problems using information presented in a bar graph.
- Show measurements by making line-plots, where the horizontal scale is marked off in whole numbers.
