Our 3rd Annual Collaborative Art Night is right around the corner on the evening of April 20th.
Enjoy a night out to see and buy amazing art by all of our Westwoods classrooms. All teachers and students, from Pre-K to 5th grade, have come together to each have a part in creating beautiful pieces. The flyer is below. You can register online by April 13th.
At the event you can place a bid on any and all pieces of art you would like to take home.
Our classroom created a large owl. Every student painted up to 10 feathers. The color they painted depended on their book club color so we could have a large variety of color. Then, students went back to their feathers later to add more flare with paint pens. Last weekend, I placed all feathers in order to create an owl. It turned out amazing! You will want this piece :)
Our second creation is working with Mrs. Walter's kindergarten classroom. Each student put their own twist on five colored sticks. Between all Mrs. Walters kindergarten students and my second grade students, we are going to take a few finished sticks from every student to create a masterpiece! This will be an additional art piece you can buy at art night on April 20th.
