Students read aloud is posted in Google Classroom: Penguin Chick
Google classroom will be found in the students TCAPS cloud. It is one of their tiles. Students are familiar with how to navigate through this.
Penguin Chick is a resource they will need for some pages in their readers notebook.

Readers Notebook Pages
Pages 82 - 96 go along with Lesson 21
There are spelling and grammar lessons to do.
Readers Guide is on page 89-90. Make a Scrapbook. They will use Penguin Chick to do these pages. Valuable!
There are also writing pages. Fixing choppy sentences. They can then write a piece of their own to exercise this concept.
Close Reader: Talk About Smart Animals!
This is a connecting non-fiction text. Students find out how tow very smart animals can solve problems. Have them do all questions from page 46 - 52. This can be done throughout the week.
Penguin Chick Story Companion
Due this at the end of the week. It reviews all concepts students will use throughout their readers notebook.
