Our High School Titan Football team is playing Grandville tonight! Since it could be the last game for a lot of seniors, their head coach has asked their fellow peers in lower grades to write notes of encouragement! Our students were proud to take on the task! GOOD LUCK WEST!

Fun Fall Field Trip

Beautiful day for a field trip!
WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! This was a perfect Fall Celebration as we go into Halloween weekend! Thank you to ALL parents who were able to show up, help and be part of the experience! 

Fire Safety

Today was fire safety day at Westwoods!
Our local firemen came out to remind us all of what to do in case of a fire in our own homes. All kids are all coming home with homework assignments.
* What is your escape plan?
* Do your smoke alarms work?
Today is always a good reminder for all!

Warmer Clothing Needed

Seasonal transition!!
Please make sure your child is wearing, and bringing, the appropriate clothing and accessories to school to keep warm.
We go outside twice a day. 

 
Students have been working hard over the past few weeks creating our class book! Last Friday all final drafts of our writing and illustrations were put together and mailed in.
Our book is titled If I Ran the School
The ideas are amazing and so creative!
We had so much fun through the whole process of brainstorming, rough drafts, revising and FINAL COPIES! Huge pat on the back to all!

Our fourth grade learning buddies even helped to give a glance and input for all of our authors!

Now we wait for our published book to arrive!
