Holiday Field Trip!

 
WAS A SUCCESS!!!
What an awesome field trip downtown, to see another surprise guest SANTA, to then watch the famous Polar Express at the State Theater! Great morning of festive fun! The smiles, cheer, and utter joy the kids had was all worth the wait!

WW Fundraiser

Candy grams are just $1.00!
5th graders will deliver the candy grams the morning of Friday, Dec. 22!
Thank you so much for supporting the fifth graders as they fundraise for their trip to the Leelanau Outdoor Center this spring!

Book: The Polar Express

We read the book together as a class this week. Then we sequenced the story and turned it into a train to connect to the theme of the story. I love all the ideas of what to turn train cars into! Great imaginations and super festive!

Time to move into a new unit! All the math challenges the kids are faced with they are accepting! So fun to push their thinking and beef up some of our 2nd grade skills! Let's see how we do with measuring and shapes!
