Science & Art

Due to our recent listening unit on insects, and our field trip to the great outdoors. One of many living things we learned about is called a pitcher plant. A prey-trapping mechanism with a deep cavity filled with digestive fluid liquid/acid that drowns insects for food.
Students made their own pitcher plants and also turned the bug (spider) into a game. You will see these coming home today. Ask your child how a pitcher plant works??
