Today we were practicing our new concept of compound words!
Students had a stick with one word on it. They had to find their partner that made a compound word. Tomorrow they get to put this in action and make their own sticks for peers to match up.
Ask your child if they can explain to you compound words. Then ask if they can give a couple examples.
