Pumpkin Investigation

Senses were put to use last week with pumpkins from our Halloween field trip. Our senses were also tested because pumpkins were in rough shape as they begin the phase of rotting! With that said, there were many brave students who not only dug into their pumpkin but did it with their bare hands and sort of a smile.

To wrap our investigation, we had to use our last sense of tasting. Since we were completely uncomfortable tasting the rotting pumpkins, we instead tried raw pumpkin from a can. 

I was pleasantly surprised to have almost the whole class be brave and try something new! Many thumbs down on liking it...but awesome they gave it a go!
