Monday we began our unit of Geometry with Shapes and Patterns.
At the end of the unit students will be able to identify and draw shapes that have specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number of equal faces.
They will also be able to identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes.
Within each activity students will be:
- Recognizing and identifying plane shapes and solid shapes
- Combining and separating plane shape figures and solid shapes
