Monday Update

Hello & Welcome Back from Holiday Break!

Homework

Students did come home with a homework packet today. However, there is not a spelling list for this week. We are wrapping up one of our units in CKLA Skills, which means in place of spelling the students are involved with a couple different assessments. These assessments test the skills learned in this particular unit to identify areas of concern and areas of strength. Each assessment will analyze curricular skills to determine if all students are ready to move on to the next unit and pinpoint any areas (if at all) that need extra attention. 

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Look for a spelling list next Monday instead.

Colder Weather!

Please remind your child each morning to pack the following along with their winter boots and winter coats.

Snowpants

Hats that cover their ears

Mittens/Gloves

Optional scarves 

It is continuing to remain cold and all students are outside before school and for two separate 30 minute recesses.
