This weeks spelling words contain either 'y' or 'igh' as the /ie/ sound. We have reviewed these once again in class underlining the spelling of the /ie/ sound and also separating the words into two columns for the 'y' and 'igh' spelling.
On the back, the students have more practice with alphabetizing words. We did the top two boxes together in class. Their job is to do the bottom two at home.
Students also have a new fluency passage and comprehension. Please encourage your child to try out the fluency part this week if they don't already. Also please remind your child to use complete sentences when answering all questions.
