Paper Planes

Today learning buddies did a STEAM activity building paper airplanes. Fourth and second grade students buddied up to collaborate on the best way to fold, crease, cut and design. Not only did we build and construct, but then we flew the planes, measured how far they could soar, and graphed the results.
We were in and out of the classroom flying and fixing, flying and fixing until the face of excitement lit up due to the length of a flight! Needless to say, our STEM activity of the week was a success!
