Hudson performed a science experiment! We were very excited to learn the steps of how dish soap reacts to pepper. He had the steps nicely prepared and written out for all to jot down. Then Hudson put each step together and showed an example of the reaction. Very cool to watch the pepper move quickly in different directions forming almost a star, and some even instantly sink! Nice work Hudson!
Jason took his love of drawing and showed 'how to draw a ship' to the classroom. He had examples to show before beginning his lesson, so all students had a picture of what they were going to be doing. Then he began with each step, and included an explanation to each vocabulary word. As he went through, the students were drawing their version of a ship also. He told the students to be creative with the water part, and they were :) Nice job Jason!
Kyle brought more of his fishing equipment back to teach us another aspect of getting the good catch! This time he brought decoys. Not only did we see real examples of what he uses, but he also taught us how to make a decoy to use in the water if we didn't have one.
The other difference he explained to us is what to use for ice fishing and how to fish in open water. Well done Kyle!
Sammy brought one of her hobbies in to teach the class! She taught how to drum, the names to each drum she uses, and also how to perform a beat and rhythm on her drum set. She did an awesome job explaining and also did a demonstration that everyone wanted to see again! Amazing work Sammy!
