Students went a scavenger hunt to help remember the kinds of nonfiction genres we have been learning about. They had a list of clues, and with a partner they searched to match the criteria understood from each genre to the different clues of the hunt.

2. Biography
3. Science
4. Atlas
5. Newspaper
6. Magazines
7. Dictionary
8. Thesaurus
9. Encyclopedia
10. Websites
Each genre had a basket, which included a variety of options for the students to explore through, giving examples for the different genres.
They had a great time doing this activity! They even asked if they could get more time to explore further into certain genres...absolutely!
