Gallaher's Farm Market

Gallagher's Farm Market for Halloween was a win! Even with the bitter cold the kiddos had a blast!
We visited with the pigs and sheep. Both animals were able to get fed by students and the pigs let of an aroma that will leave an impression on all :)
Then all students ran to find their very own pumpkin to decorate at school. You will see these beautiful pieces coming home on Friday.
To follow the students ran through a monster of a corn maze! And if that wasn't exhausting, we then walked up the hill to find the cider mill. All students were able to grab an apple and throw it into the mill. Two of our friendly farmers crushed each apple to then mill into apple cider!
As we got back on the bus, we carted our tasty doughnuts and apple cider back to school to enjoy!
Great fun!

Your child did an amazing job on the field trip! Not only behaving well and respecting the space we were in, but also not let out a single complaint in regards to the weather, the atmosphere or the fact that our new venture replaced a Halloween celebration at school! Very proud of the students I have!
I hope everyone had a great Halloween evening!! If you can, please send in a picture of your child's costume if you haven't already!
