The class did fantastic last week on their Math Review test!! There was a little more trouble on partitioning rectangles equally and understanding the difference between rows and columns. Which means we will continue to review and practice this concept. However, they all knocked it out of the park with the intro to fractions and multiplication.
This week, I did take a small break on multiplication, and instead wanted to introduce bar models. This week the students will be focusing on:
1. Identifying and adding fractions
2. Partitioning rectangles equally
3. Bar models
4. Number Sense
