St. Patrick's Day

Second grade had a lot of fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day!!

Both second grade classrooms started their morning off with a hike. Temperatures outside were a little chillier than the recent norm. However, it was still a lot of fun to get outside and enjoy the sun!

All students split up, then partnered up, and spread out throughout both classrooms for a Lucky Charms activity inside. Students used the candy pieces to graph and tally the quantities. Students from each classroom worked really well together! 

Later that morning we put together a St. Patrick's Day reading book. 

We learned about St. Patrick and had a couple comprehension questions to answer in the back. Students brought this home to enjoy and read to someone else.
